Appreciation

This game is something I can appreciate. To me, that means I can see why others like it but I cannot bring myself to like it. Maybe I just dont like puzzles. I really thought I was going to get a straightforward platformer, but I got more than I really wanted.

The game is beautiful and creatively executed. There is real thought and artistic expression and exploration going on here. If youre someone who believes that gaming can include artistic expression, its likely youll like this game. In order to like it, youll also need patience. And itll help if youre amused with the insufferable main character. For some reason I detest him.

The back-in-time motion is interesting, but again, its not for me.

I was irritated by the plagiarism of Mario. Platforms, squat-statured character, even the green pipes with killer lotus flowers protruding from them. Im unimpressed.

Cant recommed this one. I tried to like it, I really did. Deleted.
