As much a work of artistic expression as a game

The reviewer who said they cant escape the feeling theyre playing Super Mario Bros. is halfway there but has missed the point. This game pays homage to Super Mario and other classic platformers very deliberately but is aesthetically and atmospherically quite the opposite. In the end the experience of this game couldnt be further from those classic platformers, turning many of their clichés on their head. Those with with patience to solve the deviously ingenious platforming-based puzzles with the simple time manipulation mechanic will find this one of the most brilliaint and gratifying games they have ever played. This is NOT a game for the "Angry Birds" crowd.
